And, there is, from a strictly existential point of view, the problem of sense, direction or meaning of life. The main idea is that by doing such an existential re- positioning, one will be able to give meaning to his or her own life in spite of every easy-going temptation. In other words, one can actively intervene in the noetic aspects concerning one’s own existence and not just conform to what is given to life by social patterns inscribed in the collective and impersonal hive we are thrown into at birth.
